The first thing you are reminded of when you wake up in the morning, is that you have to thank God for another (beautiful) day.

What if you can't see anything lined up for you to be really grateful about today?

Perhaps, you would just thank God anyways as a routine thing to do, hoping for something good to show up.

I have been told to stay positive at all times irrespective of whatever I am going through.

Because, if i don't, I may run the risk of inviting all sorts of negative realities into my life.

So I stick to it and read excerpts from books on the law of attraction and positive thinking.

Helps to a great extent.

Makes me feel empowered.

Then again it fizzles out. So i read again. Then repeat.

If you are placed in a situation where nothing is working out. You are applying for jobs one after the other and you are not getting one. You have unpaid loans and you feel you are getting buried under them. You are running pillar to post trying to fix your situation.

In the end, your frustration gives way and you start feeling depressed. You don't know what to do anymore. You are lost.

Feeling depressed or lost is a phenomenon that continues unless and until you accept yourself and the situation you are in.

Its a cliche "whatever happens is for the best".

But true to every letter in it. Everything that's happening in your life is trying to teach you something. The sooner you learn, the faster you are out of it. When I say out of it, I don't mean out of the situation. It's the state of your mind that you need to deal with.

Take responsibility for your actions. Take responsibility for your state of mind. Easier said than done. But practice will surely make you perfect.

Don't be a bystander waiting for the scenario to improve. Be constructive and work towards the exit plan. Perseverance is the key.

Stop assuming that you are the biggest victim of the current circumstances.

Look at other people. Reach out to the community. Give whatever you can. Even a smile would do.

It's one life. Fight for it. Make it worthwhile. Ensure at least one person misses you when you are gone. Try to be the one whose one sight brings solace to at least one person. Rise in your own eyes. Feel ecstatic about at least one thing you do everyday. I do. Lets share at least one good thing we did today. Please put your post in the comment section.
